There are generally two ways to connect the portable display, and some models have three:
1. USB Type-C Connection. When your device has a USB Type-C port with Thunderbolt 3 or USB 3.1 or later, it can directly connect to the monitor with one cable. Because the output power of some devices is limited, especially for HP computers, if the screen keeps flickering or showing No Signal, this means the power input is not sufficient. In this case, the display must also connect to an external power supply. The charger will be included in the package.
2. Connection through the HDMI interface. Considering the compatibility of different devices, an HDMI cable will also be included in the package. If the monitor has a standard HDMI port, you will get an HDMI to HDMI cable, and if it has a mini HDMI port, a mini HDMI to HDMI cable will be provided instead. HDMI connection needs an external power supply as it only supports signal transmission. A USB Type-C to USB Type-A cable will also be required if the monitor has a touch function. Connect the USB Type-C cable to the full feature Type-C port of the portable monitor and USB Type-A to the USB Type-A port of your laptop or other devices.
3. MINI DP interface connection. To meet the different needs of laptops, we reserve the mini DP port for some models. When it comes to the MINI DP interface connection, the connection method will be the same as the HDMI above.
